Called in on a wim. Really impressed with the food. Two courses for a tenner. Garlic mushrooms then chicken giro with the nicest home cooked chips I’ve had in a long time. All washed down with a nice mythos. Deffo be back

A prefect place to drop onto especially on a wet day in the North East. We had a warm welcome from the gentleman waiting on tables and he helped us with our choices. The food was tremendous and very flavourful. I particularly enjoyed the chicken arrabiata but my Dad had the kleftiko and that looked gorgeous. We also had a pudding each and they were large and extremely tasty.

Probably the last time I will visit here as the good we had was so poor. Calamari was fried so long it was crunchy and snapped when I ate it. The king prawn souvlaki had 5 prawns that were not the biggest, the sauce had very little flavour with too much garlic and the rice could only be described as a pile of mush, similar to eating mashed potato with no flavour. It was very quiet for a Friday night, only 4 tables in total. Such a shame as this used to be quite a busy place.

Great place to visit. Friendly staff. Amazing food. Affordable prices. You wont be disappointed. Update. After great experience went for a meal again and I was dissapointed. Same meal "mixed grill" looks different and not same amount as before. Some types of meat were missing. Taste nice but I was still hungry. ☹️

Nice relaxed restaurant, friendly staff and food was decent. We weren't that keen on the gyros but we are definitely going to return to try some other dishes. It's good that you can bring your own wine - they've also got my fave draught so will be going without the car next time! 😁
